Aims and Scope
Technology and Engineering Education: Bringing STEM to Life is a blind peer-reviewed practitioner journal of the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA). The mission of ITEEA is to advance technological and engineering capabilities for all people and to nurture and promote the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits.
Technology and Engineering Education seeks practitioner focused articles that align with the mission of ITEEA, with clear applications for teachers, principals, informal educators, preservice teachers, teacher educators, and those working in educational policy. Topics may include general interest articles related to best practices, strategies for recruiting and retaining high-quality technology and engineering teachers and/or STEM teachers, issues of equity in teaching technology and engineering education and/or STEM education, ready to implement classroom activities, mentoring new technology and engineering educators and/or STEM educators, and lessons learned from being a technology and engineering educator and/or STEM educator.
Journal information
Technology and Engineering Education: Bringing STEM to Life is a member benefit of the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association. The journal will continue its long history of being a leader in the fields of technology and engineering education and STEM education as it is rebranded as Technology and engineering Education: Bringing STEM to Life for Volume 83. This blind peer-reviewed practitioner journal is included with membership as an online journal, with a hard-copy available at an additional cost. The journal is published five times per year.

Technology and Engineering Teacher has had an average acceptance rate between 70% and 75% in recent volumes. The average time from submission to first decision is approximately 95 days for recent volumes. The average time from submission to publication has recently varied from nine months to one year.
